About Sheila

Sheila Cunha was born and raised in San Leandro, attended college in San Francisco and Hayward. As a 22-year member of the Real Estate Industry she is proud of her many accomplishments In the industry . She is Past President  with the Bay East Association of Realtors and is Past President of Central County Marketing Group. She serves on the Professional Standards Committee, is Past & Past Chair of Local Government Relations Committee and volunteers her time as a Mediator and Past Chair of Mediation. She serves as an ombudsman for the association and is currently a State Director for The California Association of Realtors serving on many committees that she is passionate about . She completed the Leadership Academy program with Bay East in 2007 and worked on the task force for the Leadership Development Program. She works for Legacy Real Estate & Associates® , and volunteers many hours in her community. She's Past Chair of the Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors and the Castro Valley Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors. She volunteers for the Pleasanton Downtown Association on numerous events including the First Wednesday street events. In 2007 she was appointed to the Castro Valley Municipal Advisory Council by County Supervisor Nate Miley and served to serve her constituents in Castro Valley hearing matters on land use and general issues affecting Castro Valley for over 12 years. She is passionate about being involved in the community works hard to protect property rights for all home owners.
